Sam is PwC's Media & Entertainment leader for the UK, where he set up and lead PwC’s multi-award-winning Marketing & Media team. Our services cover customer insight, marketing transformation and effectiveness, media assurance (media audits), audience reporting, and campaign delivery, all underpinned by data privacy and ethics. We are a neutral independent party committed to delivering trust and insight across the marketing and media ecosystem. In the past three years we have published two globally acclaimed studies into programmatic advertising, verified audience data for broadcasters and publishers, undertaken hundreds of media audits across the globe, run major media agency pitches across 50+ markets, and publicly verified campaign delivery for addressable TV and digital out-of-home. Our team is also responsible for the 6-monthly IAB/PwC Digital Adspend Study in the UK. In 2021 Sam was recognised as one of Campaign’s "40 Over 40" influential figures in UK media. Outside PwC he is a Trustee and Finance & Audit Committee Chair of the charity Media Trust (https://mediatrust.org/).
