We have sponsored ProcureCon Marketing in previous years. Sponsoring gives us a very good opportunity to be close to both our existing potential clients, with have a space to talk to them in a relaxed environment. Not only this, but it also helps us to gain insights into what’s going on in the industry, which we can feedback to our colleagues and make some internal changes.

It's great to be able to meet people face-to-face again, post COVID. Networking in person is definitely better to communicate easily and build connections, and everyone is very keen.

The quality of delegates on site have been fantastic, in terms of both job title and company. Everyone we have met have been very senior, which you would not normally be able to get to over email. A lot of the people we have met would normally be too busy to reach out to, whereas in this space they are all here to meet sponsors.

The breakout sessions and lunches/drinks have been very useful and well timed. A few conferences I have attended previously have lunch breaks that are quite long, which sometimes means you struggle to get people back to your booth. It also creates a good opportunity to speak to people you haven’t yet had a chance to, in an informal environment.

One of my colleagues ran a session on automation, which went really well. We had a lot of engagement from the audience, with people nodding their heads and looking interested. We had a lot of questions asked by the audience during the session, and even some that followed up after, which meant they stopped by our booth instead. This gave us more opportunity to connect and get some models beside.

The sessions that I attended myself were very interesting. It’s helpful to get a new perspective on topics you think you already know about, as it can come from a client or agency with a different outlook. It was also very good that there was someone leading the conversation and making sure everything ran smoothly and on time, and a tech person to assist if need be during a session.

The organization of the event has been brilliant, everything has tied in together seamlessly. The layout of the event has been great, even with the placement of coffee during the breaks and access to the sponsor area, it all worked well together. The lunches were very good too, with lots of variety to choose from. The venue all round has been fantastic, particularly for its views of London and accessibility to the train line, which is very convenient.

Sponsoring ProcureCon Marketing will help us achieve our 2022-2023 business goals, as it puts us in a very good spot for meeting new clients and everyone has been very open to hear what we have to offer. We are planning to look into ProcureCon Connect for next year too, as it a great way for us to build connections, and in a different format.
